Safety Stock Shield stores only the data needed to configure inventory protection rules, process billing, and operate the app inside Shopify.
Shop domain, Shopify session records, safety-stock rules, compiled runtime snapshots, billing state, and diagnostic events generated by the app.
Safety Stock Shield does not intentionally store payment card data or unrelated customer profile data in its operational tables.
Data is used to enforce safety-stock rules, publish runtime configuration, show merchant diagnostics, and meet Shopify platform requirements.
App data is retained only while the app is installed and needed for app operations. When Shopify sends a supported privacy or uninstall event, Safety Stock Shield removes local shop data that is no longer required for compliance or billing records.
